Join a ranger for a fun, 1.25-mile hike along the rice field trail. This easy hike will take you through several ecosystems and will discuss how the landscape and wildlife has changed over the 250 years this land has been known as Hampton Plantation. From rice trunks and naval stores to conservation and restoration - it’s a great opportunity to learn about the challenges faced in the past and also those we face today. Meet at the ranger station.
