Ms. Keaton has pieced together a history with colorful characters- a history that begins in colonial times with her slave ancestors at Grange Farm and Revolutionary War General Robert Howe, and continues at Lloyd Plantation with State Senator Salter Lloyd and ends with The Black Missionary Baptist Movement in the Middle Cape Fear and Reverend Richard Keaton .
