Traditional Music at the L.W. Paul Living History Farm

Traditional Music at the L.W. Paul Living History Farm

Community Event, Living History, Seniors, For the Family
Enjoy a traditional music demonstration on June 17th at the L.W. Paul Living History Farm. This month’s demonstration will focus on the fiddle and the banjo, two of the most popular rural area instruments. We will have on site a banjo and fiddle that were owned and played by Horry County citizens. Learn how these two instruments have changed in playing style, how they are tuned, and hear some good ole music. Music will last from 1:00 PM until 3:30 PM and is free and open to the public. The L. W. Paul Living History Farm is open Tuesday-Saturday 9 AM-4 PM and teaches the history of the Horry County farm family from 1900-1955. The farm is located at the corner of Hwy 701 North and Harris Short Cut Road in Conway, SC. For more information, contact the L. W. Paul Living History Farm at 843-365-3596 or email For a full list of programs and events at the Horry County Museum and L.W. Paul Living History Farm, visit
