Farm Animal Day at the L. W. Paul Living History Farm

Farm Animal Day at the L. W. Paul Living History Farm

Community Event, Living History
Experience life on the “one horse farm” in Horry County from 1900-1955 at the L.W. Paul Living History Farm. Join us on Jan. 27 from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. to learn about the different animals on the farm and their various roles. The public is invited to help feed the animals from 9 to 9:30. Visitors can select an ear of corn, shell it, and use it to feed the chickens. This month farm staff will talk about farm animal housing and bedding in the winter when the weather is cold and will demonstrate how animals were groomed. The L. W. Paul Living History Farm is open Tuesday-Saturday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and teaches the history of the Horry County farm family. The farm is free and open to the public and is located at the corner of Hwy 701 North and Harris Short Cut Road in Conway, SC. For more information, call (843) 365-3596 or email
